the class outing mre of less has beem confirmed..... most probably shld b BBQ at chong han's hse bah.. someone forgot hu tell mi he allow.... haha btr dun let us find woman thr:D haha actually if ur dun wan chong han's hse ryan's hse oso can but we will need call him liao and ask haha his hse more chance u will find woman thr hehe but its closer to my hse:D haha okay... for the date cuz fuhuarians the 1st week is remedial week or sth liddat rite? so 1st week cnt le..... then according to guean she dun have anything on... jun yi say dun sat can le.... err... then eric and mavis gt bio.. mavis bio shld b on 1st june.. eric de nt confirmed.... i mayb accompany my fren go maths remedial but of the outing falls on the same day as the maths remedial then i dun go le:D jaslin cnt make it on the 8th and 15th...ryan's hse dunno gt BBQ pit anot leh so... we need contact him cuz he dun come this blog le i tink... err... the rest of the scheule i will try to get if can we try to squeeze class outing to 2nd week can?
acivites can hav water bomb and mayb dodge ball/captain's ball wat ever... erm anyway ur can try to give mi ur schedule as soon as possible we need plan liao.... and now CLASS TEE:D hu wan? so far those hu wan include: mi, mavis, Dilys i dunno still gt a not cuz i cnt really.... but i wan class tee badly!:( hehe.... gtg now will inform ur on mre details when some mre things have been confirmed:) i hope tt the whole class can attend:D haha miss 6A:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D andand i realise lesser ppl have beem coming!:( mavis suggest it to b on a friday:D

hey 6a!!! wat happen can we b like mre active or more enthu? err.... so class outing... we will go someone's hse? is either someone's hse to BBQ or ESCAPE ler... no choice..... ppl pls... june holidays are like a week away nt much time left!!! plspls ppl juz make a decision i really miss 6a academy man!!!! it rocks:D:D:D hehe yay!!

Just here to share something from yesterday's English lesson(:
Sibei fun lohs, we were like, playing English vs Singlish .
Those in Class 1r3 of FuHua may know :D .
Anyways, here goes.
There will be a scenario and two boys were asked to come up to the front to roleplay .
They would be roleplaying about the responses of a Singaporean and a British man .
You're supposed to see the differences and all, y'know.
PS. I twitched some of the words here and there, cannot remember the exact sentence, y'know .

So, Scenario 1; You are a salesman. A customer is looking for this particular clothing she saw in the magazine however, it is out of stock.
A British man would say, "I'm sorry but that piece of clothing is out of stock. However, I can check for you with the other outlets, will you please hold on for a second?"
Whereas a Singaporean would say, "No stock lah!"

Scenario 2; You are on a crowded bus and are about to alight. A man was in your way.
A British man would say, "Excuse me but will you please make way ?"
However, a Singaporean would say, "Oi, siam lah!"

Scenario 3; You are in restaurant. You notice a lady staring at you for quite some time.
A British man would say, "I'm sorry but I've notice that you've been staring at me for quite some time. Do I know you?"
And a Singaporean would say, "看什么看? Qian bian ah?"

Scenario 4; You are in a library. There are a group of people making noise.
A British man would say, "I'm sorry but will you please lower your volume?"
A Singaporean would say, "Oi, diam lah!"

That's about it, I cant remember the rest, there were too many :/
Today's English lesson was about like, mistakes that were made in students' essays.
So well, my teacher told us there was this time where this guy was writing about his dream girl.
So he said her looks, blahblahblah and then, the 2 of them went to a party together.
Everything was well until he wrote one sentence - "Jane was wearing a white dress and she walked through the room."
It was at that moment when my class burst into peals of laughter LOL.
White dress some more , LMFAOs.
He meant to write "walked across the room" .

There was another about writing on foreigners coming to stay in your house, homestay visit or something.
And that student wrote, "They flew off yesterday".
Wthell ? Where did they fly off to ?
To Heaven or something ? o-o

And there was another that was on a one word topic - Friends.
My teacher was marking until she came across a student's essay and he/she began off with - "Friends are always there but are they real?"
LOL. Obviously they are real!
What else could they be? Spirits or something?
He/She meant to write "Are they true?" LOL.

Another funny thing that happened today was that.
THE CHAIR BROKE WHEN OREO SAT ON IT .
We were like, controlling ourselves not to laugh !
Great great effort was required y'know :x .
But we still got scolded for like, giving the teacher such a lousy chair .
Hahas, maybe cause she's too heavy :D .

So, that's all.

hell0, hows everyone's life recently? mine had been quite bored and filled with projects:( okay clas souting once again.. always ppl ignore my post.... noone like to give suggestion but wan to go... pls work as a class together and play as a class together.... we must have team spirit dun b like my sec 1 they suck lor.... sosososo pls think of a class outing destination soon...  the june holidays aren't far so if no place is decided we have no choice but to cancel.. and i dun wan class outing to be cancelled cuz i wan to see this class again:D
