up to now, we've decided on going East Coast Park. Wait.. wait.. Before i ask you anything else, any violent objections? Maybe add reasons and your suggestions along with it. Your reasons will be answered if relevant. (: The rough idea is to have some recreation activities and a picnic there. Activities includes cycling, rollerblading etc. The date and time are still not confirmed as we would like to hear some suggestions from our class. What's a class outing when everybody doesn't agree, right? Hehe..

National Day.

Hello 6A'ians (:

Today's gathering back to Juying was a lil unsucessful i guess. Less people went back, some people weren't even informed. For instance, Jingyi. When I was walking home, saw her and asked her why she didn't go back to Juying. She said that she wasn't informed! :O Okay, 6A'08 is not that efficient anymore! :( Today, only 12 people from 6A'08 went back i think. Claps for those who went back. -claps- Hah. And thanks VanessaGoh for sponsering the cab fare from fuhua to juying! ^^

And all went home quite early! :( Didn't have much of a bonding time, just awhile. Hopefully, teacher's day will be much better, :) 6A'08, you guys rocks! (L) No matter what happens, remember never to give up on 6A'08! We'll still be united as one even as years go by, alright!

Firstly, thankyou ChongHan & family for everyt yesterday alright! :)

Yesterday was a success I guess. Just that, there was a period of time when alot of people were not co-operative, and went off on their own way. But oh well. It came out okay in the end, didn't it? :D Hah.

&I realised that alot of people have changed in terms of appearance leh! ;o Laughs . Anw, not as many people turned up as expected. :( And there was quite alot of leftover food.. >< Uh, I'm lazy to update much anymore, but just remember, you guys rock, and nobody will be able to replace 6A'08.

Just here to share something from yesterday's English lesson(:
Sibei fun lohs, we were like, playing English vs Singlish .
Those in Class 1r3 of FuHua may know :D .
Anyways, here goes.
There will be a scenario and two boys were asked to come up to the front to roleplay .
They would be roleplaying about the responses of a Singaporean and a British man .
You're supposed to see the differences and all, y'know.
PS. I twitched some of the words here and there, cannot remember the exact sentence, y'know .

So, Scenario 1; You are a salesman. A customer is looking for this particular clothing she saw in the magazine however, it is out of stock.
A British man would say, "I'm sorry but that piece of clothing is out of stock. However, I can check for you with the other outlets, will you please hold on for a second?"
Whereas a Singaporean would say, "No stock lah!"

Scenario 2; You are on a crowded bus and are about to alight. A man was in your way.
A British man would say, "Excuse me but will you please make way ?"
However, a Singaporean would say, "Oi, siam lah!"

Scenario 3; You are in restaurant. You notice a lady staring at you for quite some time.
A British man would say, "I'm sorry but I've notice that you've been staring at me for quite some time. Do I know you?"
And a Singaporean would say, "看什么看? Qian bian ah?"

Scenario 4; You are in a library. There are a group of people making noise.
A British man would say, "I'm sorry but will you please lower your volume?"
A Singaporean would say, "Oi, diam lah!"

That's about it, I cant remember the rest, there were too many :/
Today's English lesson was about like, mistakes that were made in students' essays.
So well, my teacher told us there was this time where this guy was writing about his dream girl.
So he said her looks, blahblahblah and then, the 2 of them went to a party together.
Everything was well until he wrote one sentence - "Jane was wearing a white dress and she walked through the room."
It was at that moment when my class burst into peals of laughter LOL.
White dress some more , LMFAOs.
He meant to write "walked across the room" .

There was another about writing on foreigners coming to stay in your house, homestay visit or something.
And that student wrote, "They flew off yesterday".
Wthell ? Where did they fly off to ?
To Heaven or something ? o-o

And there was another that was on a one word topic - Friends.
My teacher was marking until she came across a student's essay and he/she began off with - "Friends are always there but are they real?"
LOL. Obviously they are real!
What else could they be? Spirits or something?
He/She meant to write "Are they true?" LOL.

Another funny thing that happened today was that.
THE CHAIR BROKE WHEN OREO SAT ON IT .
We were like, controlling ourselves not to laugh !
Great great effort was required y'know :x .
But we still got scolded for like, giving the teacher such a lousy chair .
Hahas, maybe cause she's too heavy :D .

As a respond to Kelly's post , I suddenly feel like going to Escape Theme Park agains ! ♥ Or maybe we can go to EastCoast to barbeque , like my Secondary 1 class did. ohya, i was blogsurfing and i suddenly felt like reading how everyone felt on 20th november '08, psle release day. like if anyone of u find out that they have nothing to post, can post on that.

ohya, before the release day, i was veryveryveryvery scared cause i dreamt that i scored 107 the night before. then i started to prepare myself for the results. i stiked off rv as one of my 'beforehand' choices and started finding schools that had a very low aggregrate cut-off like jurong west sec, gan eng seng.. etc. then on psle release day, i was sosososo scared because i heard that highest was rosemary and she scored 257. if the highest was 257, then i surely will get below 230. then when i got back my results, i didnt dare to open and see. jiaqi got quite fustrated and pulled out part of my result slip: eng-A* chi-A maths-A sci-A hcl-dist... i wasnt schocked(suprisingly) but i havent seen my results yet. i was praying and hoping that i would not get below 230... and i opened it. i didnt feel like crying, i didnt feel happy. i didnt feel anything at all.

that was weird larh. but i was partially sad after dat cause many of my friends(u al) didnt get into the same school as i did.

so that was an example lor. i really wanna know how u al feel....sorry, like i'm a busybody XD so yeah...

But one big mistake is 3 failures in my common tests (English , Chinese and History) . Sad lohs :X . Havent show my parents my report book first . YO All! I very sad... Common test sure fail 1... maths minus 6 marks liao!!! (I tell my friends they say me got problem... only minus 6 marks...) English i go ask my teacher and i fail... =) Only got 3 pass... Sure die for english... History also... Got 1 12 marks question get wrong!!! MY GOD! Science also very hard... bout 4 marks byebye liao... Lucky chinese good... Get 80/100 (2nd in class...) Dunno how i get 1... Nvr mind, common tests over!!! Going relax... Firstly,Mavis please dun let off your anger here. Avoid using vulgarities, too big font, blah blah...

Everyone seems like a small fish in the big sea. Even me, i score 48.5/100 for chinese! (really cannot de,cheryl. told you le) even history. History, though i dunch know my marks, teacher say almost whole class fail-.- But luckily all my teachers are quite kind(abit?). The history teacher blame himself for not giving us enough practice.

English, though less then 5 pass, but the teacher never scold us she just say we need more practice. The Home Economics teacher did not scold me when i did not complete the project. So just wanna say that the teachers are very helpful and trying their best to help us improve. 6a acads, Gambateh!(means JY)

Haiish, all(maybe not all) of you must also been scared when you recieve your results right? Its much more difficult than primary. How i wish i can go back to JYPS... I think i 3 test fail liow:( (How to up self-esteem now?)

Haha after a day from school, came back at last.=.=

Firstly,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ERIC !!

Eric, you've been such a good friend. We won't forget our classmate birthday, right 6a acads? (If you say no, you must be pretty heartless:P )

Let’s also give a applause to those in Nan Hua High who completed their 4.2km run. (woah, that’s a big difference, from 1.6km to 4.2km) It's ok if you dun get the top; it is a matter of fact whether you tried your best :)

Lastly, I think I failed my English Common Test -.- Like wad cheryl said "all fail siah , nobody passed at all . Its out of 25 and highest in 1r3 was 12 . 1r2 only got 2 people pass leh , highest was 16" so from that i predicted i was going to fail.

Hahas, if the results show this marks, we have to improve for the better. So the next term we study 24/7? JK:P
But though not study 24/7, we still have to improve its ok if you had made a small improvement, keep it up. Before i sign off, JY 6a acads in whatever you do. Don't let an obstacle block your road to success!

today, principal made announcement: to all nan hua personnel, an accident has happpened in the HDB construction site. pls evacuate the school now. something like that.. at first dunno the seriousness our class reaction was like "yes" lor but i damn curious can... but finally found out(u will too if u read the news) there's a bomb there i think... scary lor starting to get scared... today saw a spider in bus slide down de lar scary. Eric caught it with a tissue still squeeze the spider lar u see so cruel... anyway, i feel sad for eric haha, the day be4 his birthday, this kind of thing happen?? isit a bad omen?(hope not) birthday boy dun think so much just have fun running tml=)

For English Common Test , 1r1 (YingJie , Jeff , HuanGui and XiuHui's class) and 1r4 (Nobody's class) havent mark finish siahs , then Vanessa and my class (1r2) and Hannah & Melissa's class (1r3) mark finish le . 1r3 de English Common Test , all fail siah , nobody passed at all . Cheryl ah, the 'poisoning' of food is accident not purpose(dun blame me, 6a-acads T.T) unless you let me taste first (eww ?) and happy birthday, ERIC !! My chengyu test got 37/50, FYI.

Like no one celebrate Eric's birthday leh. Eric dun worry i also 'miss' my birthday this year coz i was sick. Haha, but my aunt so kind still rmb my birthday and gave me my late birthday present yesterday.(my birthday is on the 29th of jan, which makes today the 1month anniversary for my birthday:P.
